Bold, thickly layered, geometric abstraction coupled with the recognition of a specific clan's tartan, makes for an outstanding conversation piece suitable for the home or work environment.


I am routinely asked if I would create a piece using a specific family tartan as inspiration. In these instances the work has a great deal of sentimental value for the patron. I have seen these commissioned pieces given as gifts for important events such as weddings, milestone birthdays, and retirement.


Depending upon finished size specifications, the lead time for a commissioned piece is currently 4 months.

Pricing depends upon size and complexity of the tartan pattern.  And YES!  I will work from an Irish tartan.
